Tutorial to creating a three dimensional shape in TinkerCAD and modifying dimensions. This is part one of two part TinkerCAD Basics series. At the conclusion of the video the viewer will be able to create a basic 3D shape and modify their sizes.

A simple activity to use for teaching the engineering design process. Cut the cards and glue them to note cards for a good movement and whole class exercise or give each student a printout to glue and add to their interactive notebook

Use a Hotwheel car and cellphones to teach the conservation of energy to find the kinetic energy of a Hotwheel car launcher/hotwheel by measuring the car's gravitational potential energy. The lab can be done anywhere in the unit and is a great tool to facilitate a think-pair-share or gallery walk for students to compare results and discuss alternative/similar data.
