Teaching style

Every classroom is filled with different learners, so I adapt my teaching to meet their needs. I blend the demonstrator and facilitator styles, modeling concepts when needed and guiding students to discover their own understanding. My goal is to make learning active, personal, and meaningful for every child.

Additional biographical information

I’m Christy, the creator behind Saddlebrook Creative Works Education Division. After more than 18 years in the classroom, I started designing resources to make learning both practical and inspiring. I understand the late nights, the busy mornings, and the need for materials that just work. Each product in my store is built from real classroom experience, tested with students, and created with teachers in mind. My goal is to help you feel confident and supported in what you do best — teaching and inspiring young learners. When I’m not designing resources, I’m writing, creating, and building my company Saddlebrook Creative Works, which is dedicated to helping teachers, writers, and women in every season of life embrace growth and purpose.
