Sage and Simple

Students will step into the shoes of marine engineers to design, build, and test a rescue boat that can carry the most weight using the least amount of materials. Using simple supplies and creative thinking, students will apply real-world science concepts like buoyancy, displacement, force, and balance to build a floating vessel that won’t sink under pressure! Through hands-on exploration, teamwork, and iteration, students will learn about Archimedes’ Principle, test their boats in water, ana
