There are 16 sheets that have addition practice with a picture that students must write about. The other 16 pages include subtraction practice with a picture students must write about. The addition and subtraction are basic one digit problems. The pictures are to emphasize that they are AUTHORS, who write. They write a sentence according to the picture. You can use it for a variety of purposes. This makes great morning work!

Teaching style
I believe in positive discipline. Students needs encouragement and positive feedback. I also think students need to be challenged and help accountable for their expectations. I am a firm believer that students need to complete hands-on activities. I try to incorporate a wide variety of activities to reach all students.

Bachelor's from Wilmington College. Master's from Capella University. Additional graduate classes from Ohio University.
