Martin Luther King Jr Quote Response
I use this activity as a writing response to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s most famous quotes. The Friday before MLK Jr. day, we take 30 minutes to read Martin’s Big Words and use this PowerPoint to reflect on MLK Jr. and his profound testaments as a leader and human. I then give each student a half sheet with a quote on it. Each student analyzes and responds to the quote. You will thoroughly enjoy reading what your amazing students have to say about these quotes!

Probing Story Questions
These story questions can be printed and copied onto cardstock. I have cut them into squares and put them on a ring connected to my easel where I read my stories. The file is editable. It can be used for Kindergarten-8th grade. The questions are used to probe studnets minds after they have a story or their teacher has read a story to them.
