It is perfect for group work and can be used for stations. Students explore habitats, the organisms in the habitat, and their adaptations and predict what will happen when the habitat changes. The pictures can be printed and laminated. All the pictures shown are from personal camera taken at local visits to the Mt. Diablo, Sequoa National Park, Mammoth Lakes and Monterey Bay. Teachers can chose to make this a hands-on activity by having kids recreate the pictures using clay or any other material
