This awesome lab is a hands-on investigation for students to determine physical and chemical properties of four different substances. This is followed by a practical quiz where students identify a substance based on it's physical and chemical properties.

This cell webquest is designed to guide students towards a basic understanding of kingdoms, eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, and simple animal and plant organelles. I Have…… Who Has? A set of 23 “I Have… Who Has” cards to review the most common lab equipment. Just print, laminate, and cut to use over and over again. Hand them out to students and begin. One student starts by reading their card out loud. When another student recognizes their piece of equipment, they read their card… and so it goes. Students share aloud until all cards are read. You may start with any card.

Also included is a lab equipment quiz and a powerpoint review to use with your students. I usually use the cards in this way: Place lab equipment around the room and put the matching card face down. Have students go to the lab equipment in groups of two. Before turning over the card, they should discuss what they think the equipment is called and what it is used for.
