This is a good strategy to teach your students how to write a paragraph, or an essay. This is a simplified version, to introduce them to R.A.C.E. After your students practice and understands the concept, you can teach them and have them elaborate on reinstate, answer a prompt, or question, cite evidence, and explain/elaborate.

This sheet is a great prewriting tool. The organizer can be used for an autobiographical narrative essay. After completing the organizer the student can then write their essay. I use this to help my students write about a memorable experience they've had.
This reading bingo challenge sheet can be used throughout the year, summer included. It has a variety of ways students can read. This will give variability to their reading, making it fun to read.
The first has over thirty inherited and environmental characteristics. Students cut out each characteristic on the second page organizer. Students are forced to make a decision. This is great for a classroom activity and or assessment.
