Bachelor's Degree in Mild Cognitive Impairment and Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University, 1980 Master's Degree in Moderate, Severe, Profound Cognitive Impairment and certification in Learning Disabilities from Indiana University at South Bend, 1986 Assorted workshops and trainings related to literacy, managing differently-abled learners and more, 1980-present.

Additional biographical information

Sandy lives in lower Michigan with her family. She works part-time at a local adult education program assisting with GED prep and also works part-time tutoring students (in person and online) of all ages in nearly all academic areas. Sandy also designs curriculum and training materials for various organizations and writes high stakes test and test prep materials for a variety of publishing companies.
