This is a beginner introduction to integers. It focuses on the recognition of the difference between how a positive and negative integer will look and targets -10 to 10. It includes numbers that are both color-coded and all black/white to provide visual scaffolding when needed. One use for this could be laminating the pieces to repeatedly practice sorting the integers. It was originally created for use with special needed students but could be applicable for more.
