These maths Rocket Races are division and multiplication mentals for Monday to Thursday. Students answer about 20 questions and time themself. There is a space for them to record their results too. This is an interactive lesson where the students need to order Australian money, both coins and notes. It also utilises the interactive tools of notebook asking the students to show different ways to make one dollar. This resource shows visual representations of Australian currency and is fantastic for visual learners. It is highly engaging and can be undertaken as a whole class, in groups or by an individual student.

This is a comprehensive maths program for year 3 and 4 students. Each week focuses on one maths concept to ensure deep understaning is developed. The activities are practical and target key understandings that students need to grasp. It is a whole term's worth of maths lessons that I've personally taught and the children engaged with them. This file contains a number of games to build the concept of place value with two and three digit numbers.
