These maths Rocket Races are division and multiplication mentals for Monday to Thursday. Students answer about 20 questions and time themself. There is a space for them to record their results too. This is a comprehensive maths program for year 3 and 4 students. Each week focuses on one maths concept to ensure deep understaning is developed. The activities are practical and target key understandings that students need to grasp. It is a whole term's worth of maths lessons that I've personally taught and the children engaged with them. It integrates the use of concrete materials as well as interactive whiteboard activities.
