Sharing Pikelets (Division)
This notebook file is for use on an interactive whiteboard (smartboard). The key idea for this lesson is sharing with pikelets as the focus, being relevant to young children. It shows visual representations of pikelets and people and asks the students to share a specific number of pikelets among a specific number of people. The smartboard tools, such as the pens and lines, will need to be used to solve the problems, which allow for a lot of discussion around the concept of division/sharing. This
