This is a project that we do to show our students that a salary in one city doesn't go as far in other cities! Students research cost of living, crime rates, entertainment, etc to see which city would allow them to get the best home or rental for their money! The kids have a great time searching and then presenting their findings! They also learn that it's expensive out there!
Presentation checklist/rubric is included!
This word document guides students through the process of finding an excel template, customizing it, inserting formulas and functions, then adding their own information. They will need to find companies they are interested in buying, find purchase prices, calculate trade fees and then track their stocks. We usually go back and can incorporate charts and other features.
Students will have to sort through information online to find three articles offering investment advice. They will need to evaluate the sites and authors, and then summarize the articles.
This is an assignment I created to use in my Marketing Foundations course. Students are required to research vehicles on the internet, find out their features, and match those features to their customers.
