Instructions and organizers to allow you to have multiple numbers quizzes. It's a great way to start off the school year to see what your students remember. It can also be reviewed again later in the year!
Here are both adjectives quizzes in a bundle. If you know you often have absent students or will need to have a few options for students in different sections, this will allow you to be prepared with two quizzes! They ask similar questions but students would not be able to tell which version they had if they were sitting beside each other.
After teaching and reviewing regular French ER, IR and RE verbs, I find it essential to consolidate student learning by summarizing everything on one page. I encourage students to hold onto this resource for future classes. It allows them to review what they've learned about regular verbs so far, to confirm their understanding and to organize their thoughts. Then it allows them to break down the similar patterns found in regular verb conjugations.
Sometimes you need two versions of a similar quiz! Here is a similar quiz to version 1. To make it more difficult, consider only giving students the masculine adjective, not the feminine one. This will show you if students can change the adjectives on their own and gives you an even more authentic writing mark. There are new questions for listening, reading and writing.

Here is an easy rubric when in a pinch to assess a student's speaking skills in French. Based on Ontario curriculum standards but can be altered according to your needs. It's simple enough for students in middle school to digest, but also appropriate for high school.

Entrance/exit cards are a great way to get student "minds-on" or to consolidate a lesson! This activity is a great way to start or finish a lesson at the beginning of your school year.
