This test assesses the learning of students in regards to reflections, rotations, and translations. Two of the problems will require the students to identify, create, and perform their own transformations. There are 8 problems total.
I designed these to put up on a bulletin board in my classroom. They are much easier for the students to understand, and the colors really make the bulletin board pop.
Students create and design a robot. They transfer it to graph paper and then list the coordinate points in the order that someone, who did not have the original image, could follow to get reproduce their image. (Grading Rubric included)
A project for students at the end of the year. They need to design their own gameboard using questions covering the content in the class. This was designed for a math class but can be modified for any content area.
In this assignment, students are able to manipulate virtual toothpicks to order an object that relates to sequences. Students will then have to respond to questions about Sequences in relation to their objects.
Methods for close reading while working on word problems in math. Great resource to glue into interactive notebooks for student reference. Two pages with the exact same information on it, you can print two per page to save paper while making student copies.
Download the following powerpoint. Print with the setting on 4 slides per page. Cut out the cards and have students organize cards from least to greatest, rational and irrational , etc. Then have students place on a number line. There are 44 slides total with different Real Number examples.
