About the store

Experience

I have taught in middle school for the majority of my career. I love the creativity, innovation, and persistence of middle school students. I have taught in both public and private schools, as well as in ELL programs. In addition, I have taught in Africa, Central America, and on the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico.

Teaching style

I enjoy using hands-on activities that require my students to work collaboratively. Many of my assignments can work for individuals, partners, or small groups.

My own education history

I have a BA in English and Spanish with a minor in ELL from Northwestern College. I also have a Masters degree in World Missions with an emphasis in Cross-Cultural Teaching from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I have also taken additional graduate courses in education.
