About the store
I graduated from the University of Central Florida with my Bachelor`s Degree in Education and a minor in Exceptional Education. I have one energetic Beagle named Mason and a classroom fish named Sprinkles. I love to attend sporting events and cheer on my favorite teams, Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins, and of course my UCF Knights. I have had years of experience teaching! This is my second year teaching at Ben Gamla Charter School. I absolutely LOVE being a teacher. I strive to engage students through hands-on activities, differentiated instruction, and of course with the incredible technology that we have at our school! Teaching is extremely rewarding and it is amazing to see my student`s growth throughout the year.

Tattling Vs. Reporting
My students have made it a habit of telling on their friends on a daily basis. I have created a Tattling Vs. Reporting template that lets students know if what they are doing is tattling or telling the teacher something very important. Students will write on a sticky note his or her report and place it inside the Monster box. I have made this " Report Monster" out of a shoe box and construction paper! My students love this and are actually now taking a moment to decide if what they are saying is

The SPREE Reading Strategy Poster is perfect for second-fourth grade students. Students can cut and paste this useful resource into their reading interactive notebooks. Teachers can also print on color for students to view when taking quizzes or tests.

Leprechaun Trap
Students will have an amazing time designing "Leprechaun Traps." Students will be given a variety of materials to create their traps. You can begin this lesson with a read aloud "How to Catch a Leprechaun."

Classroom Behavior System "Sweet Dollars."
As a positive behavior system in my classroom, students are rewarded with sweet dollars. When a student earns a certain amount, he or she will be rewarded with prizes from the treasure box. They can shop for an item or save their money to earn more prizes!
K - 5th
Ice-Cream Cone Treasure Box Ticket
At the end of the year, I send my students home with a book mark ticket. If they save the ticket and bring it back to me during the new school year, they will earn a treat from my treasure box!!! I love this just as much as the kids because I also get to see their smiling faces!

Glow and Grow Writing Chart
During writing workshops, students are given a Glow and Grow chart. This chart is used to show the writing areas a student must improve in, and what strategies he or she succeeds in. Students love this during workshops because they get to meet with me one on one and go over their essays.

Teaching style
I understand that every student is unique, which allows me to respond to different learning styles and to accommodate multiple abilities into every lesson. It is important to me that my students feel safe and comfortable to ask questions and be themselves. I constantly encourage every child to do their personal best.
