2 Day Lab that includes a total of 6 mini labs. Included is a front and back passport packet. Once a student completes a section, the student receives a sticker or stamp to show they have completed their 'Sound Adventure'! The labs include discussion about density, states of matter, amplitude, pitch, and waves. 6 mini labs include: Spoon strung from ears Tuning fork in water and salt Tapping and blowing into glass bottles filled with different amounts of water Buzzing straws Coffee Cans fille

Students must complete the table / acronym: R.A.C.E.S. Restate the question, Answer the question, Cite evidence, Extend your answer, Summarize. Students must answer the center question using some kind of text to be able to cite evidence. Some students who have trouble citing evidence, I usually allow them to highlight or color coat information in a text.
