This worksheet is for non-readers or young students that are visual/kinesthetic learners. Use this worksheet as a basic assessment after teaching about weight and using a pan balance. Students can weigh items that are already in your classroom, individually or in pairs. Then, they can record the heavier item by drawing the answer on this handy worksheet.

This super sentence anchor chart can also be used as a mini lesson. My class reviewed the simple sentence and then we marked up the "Super Sentence" identifying the who, what, when, how, where, and why plus the bonus adjectives. Help your students move beyond just a capital letter and punctuation to a truly super sentence! I hope this is helpful to you, too!
