Use this choice board after reading The Incredible Book Eating Boy by Oliver Jeffers. Students can choose from 8 different choice assignments or create their own (with teacher approval)! In my opinion, the options are suitable for grades 2-5 but can be tailored to work for other grades as well.

This is a pre-made lesson that accompanies the story Throw Your Tooth on the Roof, level 20-24. The top section has standards from the DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment) and the appropriate standards for this lesson are highlighted. The bottom has procedure for before, during, and after reading, including an activity for reading response. The graphic organizer for this activity is included. The students will record facts and make connections.
