Virtual Manipulatives for Distance Learning with Google
When I created this product, I was trying to find a way to work my head around teaching math with manipulatives in a way that I wouldn’t have to spend my time continually cleaning manipulatives. I believe that hands-on is the best way to teach concepts, especially in Primary classrooms. So I took my MATH boxes unit and changed it to a virtual product. There are so many concepts you can teach with these manipulatives. You can use them for almost every concept in Math. I have included a few idea

Teaching style
My teaching style has evolved over the years. I strongly believe in demonstrating and supporting respect for all people in the class. That said, I also believe in structure and firm boundaries. I believe that children work best in an environment where they have a lot of choice to do hands-on activities. Children need plenty of opportunity to walk around and to talk when learning. I also strongly believe that children learn to read when they read every day, especially struggling readers.
