I created this activity to go along with our western unit. Each student will color in their own square. Each square will then be cut out and connected to create one large quilt. I recommend printing on cardstock and laminating once completed. Enjoy!

This is a fun Haunted House writing activity for your students! Students will pick a haunted house picture (each house has a unique problem) and color the house. Next, they will fill out the writing organizer describing their house. There is rough draft and publishing paper included. I had my students cut out their haunted house and glue it to a black piece of construction paper to make it stand out. Students then shared their writing to the class along with the house.
Included is 5 posters. -writing coversheet -informative/explanatory writing -opinion/persuasive writing -narrative/story -a final that has all one on sheet. I use all the options in my classroom. I recommend using the poster mode on the school printer for the individual, and the one sheet for students to have their own copy. I hope they are as helpful for you as they have been for me!
