I am licensed to teach K-8. I have worked in classrooms of all grade levels from Kindergarten all the way up to 8th grade. For the past 6 years, I have been teaching middle school math.
I love using technology to create interactive and engaging content. I am a self-taught coder and game developer. I love learning new things and finding out ways to make learning math more fun for my students.

Two-Step Equations | Scaffolded Notes | Instructional Video
Students can learn to solve two-step equations by watching this video and filling in the notes. The notes also includes practice problems to assist the students in mastering the new skills. Video Link - https://youtu.be/DcOcWZ_X3tsI would recommend you have the students work individually so they can complete the video and notes at their own pace. Adding Integers Retrieval Guide | Middle School Math
This retrieval guide gives students the chance to reflect on the adding integers rules at the conclusion of the lesson. What Is It?The guide first challenges them to remember the rules from memory and then rewrite the rule from the lesson (slideshow is included in the Adding Integers lesson bundle). Lastly, the guide asks students to rate themselves on how well they know the rules, metacognition. The students can access the retrieval guide at a later time to help them recall the adding integers
