This is a matchbook style graphic organizer for the layers of the Earth. Students use the graphic organizer to relate convection currents to plate tectonics. This product gives you two graphic organizers per page. Copy the two pages back to front and fold. This is great addition to an Interactive Science Journal!

Use these QR codes with the Atmosphere and Weather Vocabulary cut and paste activity. This activity allows students to check their work on the vocabulary activity. Place the QR codes around the classroom and let the students work together using their smart phones, tablets, etc. to find the definitions to the terms listed. These QR codes do not need Wi-Fi to work and do not access the internet.

Challenge your students to put the phases of the moon in order from any point. A great higher order thinking activity. Cut out the blocks, and laminate them for use year to year. Let pairs of students work through the activity, mix them up, and give them a different starting point. A picture of the Earth and Sun are included so you can have students put the phases in relation to the moon, Earth, and Sun.
