This purchase includes a printable journal and a Word document that should be uploaded to a Google Doc to share with your students. For each chapter, students are given a task to complete in the journal with the help of online research. Skills include making predictions, critical thinking, researching with informational text, and similes.

It gives students a chance to do individual or small-group research using the links provided throughout the chapters, and can be used as enrichment during center time.
