Simple calm down visuals. Use the large visual to label a calm down area or as a visual prompt to prompt a student to calm down or go to the calm area. They can then choose a calm down strategy in the 4 calm down strategies visual page. A teacher or parent should model how to engage in the strategy and praise the student/child for calming down.
This is a great visual for a picky eater. You can use this to prompt a child to have something less preferred first, then they can access a preferred bite of food. This can assist in increasing food tolerance.
These visuals can be cut out and used as prompts to teach reciprocal conversations. As the child/student gains more independence, these visuals can be removed. You can use these by saying something in a conversation, then showing the student the next thing they should do (comment, ask a contingent question or as a reciprocal question).
