School Corner

This packet is for all five books of the Spiderwick Chronicles. Each chapter gives 1-3 questions to test for comprehension. I use this in my third grade room for read aloud, so students do not have to always search for their answers back in the book.

This multi-page document gives the scoring guide and assignment details for a culminating task. Students will be assigned and/or choose a city to research weather and climate. For 14 days, students will collect daily weather and create a graph. Students will then research the city's climate and create a travel brochure and focus on the city's tourism and natural resources, related to climate. This two-page document includes a way to track daily weather and a weather and climate project scoring rubric. This is a great resource to use with my Weather and Climate Research Project! Included in the graph are the date, daily high and low temperatures, wind speed and direction, storms, cloud types, and a current temperatures.
