This assignment is designed to get students to focus on adjectives, common and proper nouns, and literary analysis. It is designed for students in grades 5-9, and more specifically for EL students. Please see the included worksheet for the digital/printable copy. There is also a slide is designed in case you’d like to simply copy and paste the questions on Google Classroom, Canvas, or another platform.

Frayer models are used to solidify vocabulary words and key terms in students’ minds. They allow students to make their own connections to the words through the use of examples and images. Use these slides to have students create their own models.
