I am an intermediate school diagnostician in Texas. I'm pretty sure that job title doesn't exist in other states, but I basically work with teachers and administrators to develop educational plans for students with disabilities. I taught for 6 years at the intermediate level (and dabbled briefly in the middle school/high school area too). I love math, which is why most of my products deal along those lines, but I have taught all subjects at one time or another.
