This google slide is PACKED with everything you need to teach basic grammar. I used this for my fifth grade class. It provides examples, definitions, and short independent practices for your students to try.
Use this to go along with any Grade 2 phonics curriculum you currently teach. The 7 units include long vowels, short vowels, glued sounds, trick words, prefixes, suffixes, and vowel teams. More to come in the future!
This one was NOT the most fun to make, but my students LOVED it. Transitions make it so easy to talk through a lesson. Definitions are clear and models give our visual learners just what they need. Enjoy!
This will help you facilitate thoughtful mini lessons for your grade 2 class! Included strategies: expanded form, bar method, open number line, number bonds. Learning targets as you move through the unit are provided. Great transitions so that all you need to do is present and click through!
Every morning I have a slide up on our smartboard to get my students settled and warmed up for the day! Each slide includes colorful clipart, a morning question (math, literacy, writing), and a lovely morning greeting! It's something small to get our day started on a positive, productive note!
Easy way to organize understanding of PEMDAS. Whole group discussions, independent practice, and no long hours making a presentation for tomorrow's lesson :)
Everything you need for your place value units. Whole group discussion, notes to take, independent practice, and awesome transitions (if I do say so myself) Enjoy!
These vowel team cards can either be cut out into individual piece to post as you teach them, or they can just be displayed as posters! I chose a neutral, pastel color theme to go with any classroom environment! Spruce up those bulletin boards! Vowel teams: ai, ay - oi, oy -- ou, oo, ue, -- aw, au -- oe, oa -- ee, ea
I created this little pack to help students with their time telling skills! It helps them have more tangible props to further understand how a clock works! I laminate these and have my students use dry erase to move hands around!
These learning targets are great to give your students criteria for success! We go over these before our mini lessons and they are used to measure how well we are moving through content. They are great tp display, send home, and show admin during observations/meeting.
I made these colorful vowel team cards for my reading bulletin board! These are great for beginning readers to supplement word walls, and so helpful for our students still struggling with spelling :)

Using base ten blocks to represent a 2-digit or 3-digit number, students are asked to add 10 or add 100 to their first addend! A few review problems are mixed in to ensure understanding of place value and skip counting
Keep all of your notes in one area! Great for remote learning. Set your google classroom assignment to make each student receive their own copy to fill out.
