This product can be used as a performance task for TEKS 6.6AB metals, nonmetals, metalloids, properties of the elements, and calculating density. You can also use this product as an activity instead of a performance task. This product can be used as a stand-alone product, but will be available in my unit 2 bundle which I am currently finishing up. In this product students work in a group to complete a task to solve a crime and then work individually to create a wanted poster.

This is a fun investigation for students and then collect the data to create a motion graph. Either do the activity as whole group or with several groups. Included is an alternative student sheet so that you can have students calculate the average speed. This is aligned to the TEKS 6.8C and 6.8D.
