When I was given just the keys to my first science classroom with the tables and chairs all stacked to one side of the room, I knew my first year of teaching would be challenging. 15 years later and I have learned so much and continue to do so. For this reason, Science Dojo was created. My lessons are authentically designed and created from real teaching experience. My hypothesis: if students are happily learning science, then I have done my job supporting teachers like you. Be empowered to teach science with confidence and piece of mind. You are enough and your students are thankful to have you!

Planning is one thing and actually teaching is another. That is why I've streamlined my science resources to support a wide range of learners with various built-in support so that any science teacher can feel secure knowing they will have the instructional strategies in place to support their students be successful learners. Being able to edit notes, slide presentations, and even assessments are important because all students are different. Each lesson is ready to support you and your students every step of the way. Masters in Education

As a native Southern Californian born and raised, Volcano National Park on Big Island called my name shortly after college. I was fortune enough to receive first hand experience working with the native Hawaiian Honey Creepers on a USGS internship. I later had the privilege of working with the native Hawksbill Sea Turtles. Shortly after, I made my way back to California where I pursued my teaching license and Master's degree in Education. The joy of learning and sharing with others made my teaching journey clear. Big Island called me back and I was thankfully offered my first teaching job as a middle school science teacher. I've lived and taught happily here in Hawaii and look forward to where life takes me.
