Many times in science classes students will use their senses to observe what is happening. Whilst this is a good way to start it is important for students to realise their senses can be tricked. This exercise illustrates the need to use quantitative data (or measurments) as well as qualitative data. This worksheet can be used at any level from junoir school through to senoir school.
