About the store

Prior to coming to Anahuac ISD, I served as a Science Coach for a campus in Humble ISD. Some of my duties included co-writing curriculum and analyzing data with approximately 32 other Science Coaches in the district. I also serviced a Science Lab for grades K- 5. And in my spare time, (LOL) I organized and ran two Science related clubs. One was a Go Green Club for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade and the other was a competitive Robotics Club for 5th grade. I am currently teaching Science to all 4th grade students on my campus in Anahuac ISD.

Powerful Seating Charts

Don't underestimate the power of seating charts! This seating chart works well for tables with 4 students or 4 desks grouped together. Use small pink and blue stickies to write girls' and boys' names. Then place them on your seating chart. Move them around until you find the perfect arrangement. When there is a need next week to shake up the seating arrangement, simply lift and shift the stickies again. Give your students a copy of their Daily Schedule and their Specials schedule. My students loved having a copy in their binder to refer to at the beginning of the year. Send home a second copy and encourage parents to hang on the refrigerator so they can see whether it is P.E. or Music day and can send their child prepared.
