Warm/ strict, I believe and reread the "Teach Like A Champion" by Doug Lemov religiously each year. I choose three new strategies each school year to improve upon. I encourage goal setting, growth mindset and creativity in the classroom.

I completed over 1700 hours of community service in one year during one of my most unique experiences in education with AmeriCorps City Year. This was a profound way to engage with students and extend their learning.
