About the store
I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of non-AP high school science courses. This has allowed me to create materials for physical science, ecology, biology, chemistry, physics, health and more! I have focused my energy and strategies around students in a high poverty school district near Seattle, Washington. My students are culturally and linguistically diverse, and come from a wide range of science backgrounds. My materials provide scaffolding and clarity for students who face unique challenges in our schools.

Teaching style

My passion is for students in high poverty areas. I scaffold my science materials to promote equity and rigorous work for these students that is also relevant to their lives. I am a standards based grading teacher who aligns to the NGSS. I create rubrics, assessments and materials to create multiple opportunities for ALL students to meet these standards.
