This PowerPoint will guide a lesson on the Apollo Space Missions in the 1960's and 1970's. There is the mission overview for each of the Apollo spacecrafts and major events and/or tragedies that occurred during the program. This PPT will go through the rock cycle and the process the three main types of rocks (Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic) go through to be formed. Then it breaks down each type of rock, and the different textures and categories each type has. Intrusive and extrusive igneous textures, sedimentary textures and foliated vs. non-foliated metamorphic and their parent rocks.
