This is a guided PowerPoint on creating a data table for inquiry science experiments. It comes with the worksheet (Creating a Data Table Practice) that the students will complete and turn in. This follows the Washington State Standards for the End of Course Assessment for creating a data table and writing procedures.

This bundle will give you a guided PowerPoint and a worksheet to practice writing scientific procedures. Students will think about how to write quality procedures when designing an inquiry experiment. The question is "How does colored light affect plant growth?" They will not actually be performing the experiment (unless you want to), it is just a scenario to get them practicing procedure writing. It follows the Washington State End of Course Assessment criteria for writing a procedure.
