A fun, engaging activity that can be used for students to identify and get to know text features. This product can be used as a project or as a literacy center activity. Students not only look and find text features, they also have to explain how it helped them learn about a topic. This product includes a rubric on the back page and several standards. This is a word document and is editable to suit your needs.
*I print this activity front to back and staple down the side to make a booklet.

I created this product to use with multiple articles that I use in my classroom when teaching and practicing text structure/cause and effect. I place multiple short passages, that are cause and effect, around the room and have the students walk to each passage and determine the cause and effect and record using text evidence on this recording sheet. Students love this activity because they are up and moving around while learning. **This product is editable**
I created this response log for students to be able to quickly respond each night after reading the book of their choice. This is a word document and can be edited to fit your needs. I print the actual log front to back so there are actually six days for the students to complete. I then have students staple the response questions into their agendas or take home folders so they always have it.
