I am an educator with nine years of experience teaching drama and ESL English in both high schools and middle schools. Originally from South Africa, I have had the pleasure of sharing my passion for the arts and language with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Prior to my teaching career, I worked as an actor, which has allowed me to bring a unique perspective to the classroom. I am thrilled to have spent the past five years teaching English and Theatre in Singapore.

As an educator, my teaching style centers around the IB inquiry-based learning model, which encourages students to be active participants in their own learning process. I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that empowers students to explore their interests and build on their strengths. By incorporating a variety of teaching strategies, such as collaborative learning and real-world applications, I aim to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in my students. Additionally, I believe in the importance of building positive relationships with my students and promoting a growth mindset, which allows them to embrace challenges and persevere through setbacks
