Students will use a dictionary to determine the meaning of any unknown words and decide if the sets of words are antonyms or synonyms. The antonyms will be colored red and the synonyms will be left white. Once all words are completed students can cut the pieces and form a candy cane to glue on an additional paper.
This addition math activity is a fun way for students to interact and practice math skills.
Students will use the tri-fold menu (printed front and back) and come up with their own restaurant and menu items with prices. Students can then visit each other and order menu items. The food tickets are used for placing an order and adding up the total cost.
