About the store
I am lucky enough to have had experience in grades K-4! Although I have been in many different classrooms, I truly love the primary grades.
I completed my field experiences in kindergarten and first grades in inclusion classrooms. I spent much up my time there creating documents, games, and SMARTBoard lessons that would last me a long time.
. I spent my final internship in kindergarten where I got to see the students foster a love for learning. I love tiny humans!
Luckily, I landed in second grade where there is a perfect mixed on innocence and maturity and students can take control of their own learning.

Seasons QR Code and Group Work
This lesson is designed to set students up in 4 different groups and travel to each station to learn about a different season.
Put out chart paper, slip into four sections, and these task cards at different locations. In their number groups, students travel around the room watching the different videos and focusing on one aspect of that season.

Here is a document you can use to create Guided Reading Plans or Strategy group plans. All you need is a leveled book to create the plans for your different groups.
The Guided Reading Plans include different focuses for each day you will meet with your group, moving in succession of difficulty. There is also a place to keep observation notes of your students as well as next steps to guide you in planning your next groups. These typically are used for students on levels RB-J.

Teaching style
Sitting still is NOT my strong suit...and I've found many kids can relate to that! I try to keep my kids up and moving as much as possible and try to incorporate that into my teaching and lessons. I use a wide range of materials from low-tech to SMARTBoard lessons to help students foster their own learning and reach a higher level of thinking in the process.
