Are you looking for a fun way for your students to practice those basic addition facts? Here is a game that can be played as part of your math centers, in a small group, or in a tutoring situation. I have included two different boards and some cute "fishy" counters so children of all skill levels can play. Here is one fun way to address Common Core Standards 1.OA.6 and 2.OA.2.

I have been in the teaching profession for 40 years. I have taught in both public schools and private, in grades 1 through 6. I have spent the last 30 years teaching second grade! I have just completed my masters degree in special education.
Teaching style
Differentiation is the best way to describe my style. When you come into my classroom you will see lots of constructive and productive activity going on all around. I love the Daily 5 and the use of centers to differentiate learning.

Additional biographical information
I have been married for 48 fantastic years to a fellow educator. Together we have two incredible sons. My oldest son is my computer guru and tech support. My youngest son is a proud officer in the US Navy. I live in the beautiful state of Vermont.
