Gradually release students to plotting numbers on an open number line up to 1000. The lines start out with benchmarks of 25, and gradually release students to fill in the numbers as they go. By the end, they will be filling out the number line by themselves.
Here are 50 word problems related to time! Each page has 2 clocks on it, so students can draw out the problem. Each page also asks students to write out their answer in words, not just numbers, and to explain how they solved it.
Problems ask students to count forward and backward in time, and lists the times in different ways (1 1/2, 120 minutes, 2pm, 4:30, 5 in the afternoon, etc.).
See preview for examples of some of these.
