Experience

I have taught 3 years at the secondary level. I have taught in a personalized learning wing of my school where I assessed with projects instead of tests. I now work in a more traditional role, but I continue to find ways to include enrichment projects into the curriculum.

Teaching style

I teach more traditionally in my current role, but previously I was in a position designed to push personalized learning to its extremes. I assessed based on projects instead of tests and I taught 5 different subjects. In my current role I mix in projects with standard teaching practices.

My own education history

I am halfway to a masters degree in educational technology

Additional biographical information

I am 26 years old and I am a baseball coach in addition to a middle school teacher.
