Have students pick a meal from a menu and add up the total. To extend learning have the students find out how much money they have left in their budget to spend.

A fun and interactive way for students to work through word problems. Students will have an addition or subtraction word problem. 5 each. They will need to move the fish to the bowl or out of the bowl depending on the word problem. Then they will need to fill in the number sentence to solve. This is a great activity for students to have visuals and manipulatives virtually. My students love this!
