About the store
I have always enjoyed working with children, beginning my career as a gymnastics coach and preschool teacher. After completing college, I became an elementary teacher, where I have continued to grow both personally and professionally. As a bilingual educator, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for all students. In 2024, I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year and had the opportunity to speak at several new teacher academies and meetings. I continue to achieve strong academic growth in my classroom each year, and my goal is to share knowledge with other educators while continuing to learn and grow alongside them.

Spell it, create it, cover it, pop-it

This fun and engaging activity will benefit students with their spelling whether it is sight words or spelling patterns that you are working on. This activity comes with capital letters and lowercase letters. I suggest putting the papers in a sleeve to reuse. Students will: 1. Write down their word in the box with an expo marker 2. Build their word with letter tiles/linking cubes, etc 3. Cover the letters with clear circles/markers, etc 4. Pop the letters on their pop-it

Ai/Ay story

This is an ai/ay story that has follow up questions. This is a great way to have students recognize ai and ay in words, along with checking their reading comprehension. This story is targeted for students in 1st-3rd grade.

Phonics Cards

My students LOVE doing phonics with these cards. The cards tell you how many sounds the letter has, and what the phoneme sounds like. These cards are every letter from A-Z. My class also makes hand motions to go along with our phonics card. For example, with the letter "K" we do a karate chop! We do this everyday and it has helped my students so much with reading, spelling and writing!

Experience

I have always enjoyed working with children, beginning my career as a gymnastics coach and preschool teacher. After completing college, I became an elementary teacher, where I have continued to grow both personally and professionally. As a bilingual educator, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for all students. I continue to achieve strong academic growth in my classroom each year, and my goal is to share knowledge with other educators while continuing to learn and grow alongside them.

Teaching style

I’m a very hands-on teacher. Students can’t learn effectively from someone just standing there preaching at them, so I do my very best to make learning engaging, fun, and interactive. I have seen tremendous academic and emotional growth in my students as a result of creating a supportive, active learning environment.
