I have always enjoyed working with children, beginning my career as a gymnastics coach and preschool teacher. After completing college, I became an elementary teacher, where I have continued to grow both personally and professionally. As a bilingual educator, I am passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for all students.
In 2024, I was honored to be named Teacher of the Year and had the opportunity to speak at several new teacher academies and meetings. I continue to achieve strong academic growth in my classroom each year, and my goal is to share knowledge with other educators while continuing to learn and grow alongside them.

Teaching style
I’m a very hands-on teacher. Students can’t learn effectively from someone just standing there preaching at them, so I do my very best to make learning engaging, fun, and interactive. I have seen tremendous academic and emotional growth in my students as a result of creating a supportive, active learning environment.
