This template can be used for an acrostic poem. I used this acrostic poem as an authentic assessment after a cross-curricular study on bats. The preview includes one of my past bulletin board displays of a BATS acrostic poem. The project included the acrostic poem and a bat craft for their final display. Students traced their hands on black construction paper to make the bat wings.

I created this for my Math Workshop display. It allows my kids to have a visual understanding of their rotations during our Math Workshop time. I printed everything on cardstock, cut it all out, glued on construction paper, and laminated. I glued the rotations according to how I wanted them to rotate. The "shapes" are my group names. This little book is an emergent reader for the letter C. It features the following sight words: we, see, the I use this with my Kinders and they love it. Each page is blank so it allows them to illustrate each page. This is a PDF file. I created the document so each file would create TWO books. Pages need to be cut in half and stapled to made into books for the kids.

I use this recording sheet for compound words word work. I laminated the Carson & Dellosa Ice Cream & Cones cut-outs. My students have to match up the ice cream with the cone to create a compound word. (i.e. play + ground = playground) As they match up the ice cream cones, they record their words on this recording sheet. It makes for an excellent word work lesson in small-group or one-on-one.

I use this when teaching place value and numbers in base ten with my 2nd Graders. I let students choose a number out of a bag or roll a number with 2 dice or double dice. They write the number in the center, then fill out each section of the page accordingly. It can be used as an assessment, review, or small-group practice page.
